ALS Kids Launch Party

On May 19, 2016 ALS Kids officially launched their business. 

Through the program Be the Boss sponsored by their school, St. Edmund’s Academy, Maeve and Sydney’s idea for a nonprofit was chosen after their pitch to a panel of judges. Eleven ideas were pitched and two were chosen that year to participate in the program. 

After 4 months of working with Denise DeSimone, CEO of C-Leveled, the girls were ready to launch their business to the public.  The room was full of family, friends, and prominent business owners from around the city as two young girls spoke eloquently and passionately about their new endeavor. 

The girls presented the first of many checks to the local ALS Association as Maeve’s biggest fan, her grandma, looked on with a huge smile.
